Faculty of Science

Following the academic initiative for the 'Public Good,' the Faculty of Sciences (FOS) was established in 2016. It is one of the most comprehensive faculties at AIMS, with 22 PhD faculty members. Our disciplines introduce students to the wonders of the natural world – from small, subatomic particles to the infinitely large universe and everything else in between. The curriculum is designed to help students acquire new skills, sharpen their minds, develop curiosity, and gain fluency in the language of numbers. We aim to equip students with excellent, contemporary, and academically challenging program knowledge, along with quality teaching, in an up-to-date learning environment. Enrolling at FOS exposes students to many opportunities in education, research, basic & applied healthcare, data science, and science journalism, among others. The Faculty of Sciences is committed to seeing all its graduates scientifically trained and well-equipped to tackle global challenges.
