  Meet The Eligibility

  • In Pakistan, candidates with an "Matric Pass" Matric (either Arts or Science) with 40% marks Age Limit: 14-40 years who meet the eligibility criteria can pursue this degree. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)  in Pakistan has been approved by the Higher Education Commission. The degree is recognized by the Pharmacy Council of Pakistan. In addition, it is also acknowledged globally.

  Number of institutes offer Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

  • A number of institutes offer Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) courses in Pakistan. These include  26 public sector institutes and 32 private sector colleges. In addition, the Pharmacy Council of Pakistan (PCP) has granted 43 colleges the NOC to initiate their pharmacy courses.

  • Note: Only colleges that are approved by PCP can offer the pharmacy course. So, it is advisable for students doingb  Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to enroll themselves with PCP as well through their colleges.

  • In today’s complex health care system, nurses require a diverse range of knowledge and skills to match with the increasing complexity of the health care system. The education must enable the nursing practice on a continual basis. The overall aim of the (LPN) programme is to produce nurses who can work with Registered Nurse (RN) in a multidisciplinary approach for nursing practice. This programme is intended to provide auxiliary nurses to graduate nurses for improvement in quality of patient care and lessen the burden of health care cost. It will also help to overcome the shortage of nurses which is an acute problem at national and international levels.

  • Alot of job opportunities in deferent countries they are work as a Nursing Assistant with handsome salary packages. The traditional role of birth attendant, a community midwife also functions in a variety of other roles related to women. They perform routine women's health checkups, educate women on prenatal health and nutrition, provide birth education classes and assist women with breastfeeding and infant care.
    The CMW model includes the following functions: Providing individualized care to the pregnant women throughout the maternity cycle and the newborn, in her own environment and helping her in self-care. Monitoring the physical, social and emotional well being of the pregnant woman as needed.

  What Does a CNA Do?

  • Answering calls from patients and making sure they’re as comfortable as possible
  • Checking and monitoring patients’ vital signs
  • Cleaning medical supplies and equipment
  • Communicating patients’ questions and concerns to nurses Assist in dressing, bathing, and grooming patients
  • Ensuring that safety protocols and procedures are carried out properly
  • Following patient privacy rules and applying professional ethics Gathering and stocking various medical supplies
  • Helping to ensure that patients’ nutritional and hydration needs are met
  • Keeping patients clean and attending to patient hygiene
  • Moving and transporting patients, such as helping patients get in and out of beds or wheelchairs

  • Upon Successful completion of this program, the CNA will be a clinical nurse able to provide nursing care at primary, secondary, and tertiary care hospitals. CNA can also work in association with Registered Nurses in private hospitals and community settings.
